SEO refers to search engine optimization that allows your website’s page rank to increase and be in the top pages of search results. Doing so can give your website more traffic and thus increase your sales and profits. Optimizing your pages with keywords is one of the basic things you need to do to achieve good SEO. Here are practical SEO techniques that can get you started:

• Your title tag should contain your main keywords. A title tag is a set of 63 characters that would be shown on top of a page browser. The title of page along with your keywords can also be placed on the context of your webpages and the URL of your page.
• Use meta description tag to describe your web page. This description would appear on search engines and should be about 140 characters. Also use keywords in your meta description tag. Your page description would appear just below the title page on search engine results.
